Rutz Gallery - Some Massachusetts Big Trees
Fred & I enjoyed being in the company of ENTS and appreciate the opportunity to actually go out in the field with you. Our son was here today and showed us 3 great trees within miles our our home that I would like to share with you. Are they worthy of becoming champions? Let us know what you think. We only measured the circumference:   Hemlock 12' 2", Sycamore 22' and Sugar Maple 13'.  The trees are all in MA-- Hemlock (Bernardston/Greenfield line) off Scout Rd in Bernardston then about a mile hike in, Sugar Maple (West Northfield) off Old Bernardston Rd near the old bridge that crossed the CT river and Sycamore (Gill) off Main Rd about 1/4 mile south of Munns Ferry Rd.

Sincerely,

Marsha & Fred Rutz
