Eastern Larch /tamarack - [Larix laricina] - a deciduous conifer that treats
locals to a second spectacular fall foliage after the leaf
peepers gone home. its golden yellow needles set against the
dark green of its coniferous cousins and a clear blue
mid-autumnal sky is a sight to behold. great old name -
