Cedar Braasch beside an ancient hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) on upper Caldwell Fork, GSMNP. The bark is so chunky it looks like douglas-fir, hence the nicknames psuedopsuedotsuga or tsuga pseudopsuedotsuga, etc.
