ENTS,

I love anything to to with Tolkiens Ents. I can so easily imagine them
being alive in our world. I almost look for them when in the woods,
especially forests like Joyce Kilmer or Cataloochee which have older
trees. Our forests need " Tree Shepherds ". We, as humans fail
miserably. If a real ent was found, humans would capture it and cage
it. But our organization, ENTS, hopefully would cherish them,
appreciate them. I feel they would like us. Heck, I could imagine Will
Blozan conversing with Treebeard over the plight of the Hemlocks.

But would we and the Huorns get along? Hopefully.

James,

Perhaps they are there in the woods and you simply do not see them. You need to look harder the next time you visit one of these old forests and the feeling of their presence comes over you. It is a question of perception of reality. I added the video to one the ENTS video playlists. Dale would like it.

Ed,

Yes, perhaps you are right.

Check these links out.

I bet BVP dreams of finding Mallorn trees, even if they are not
conifers.
