Greetings,

On a related note - I just measured a new California sycamore record.

The 496 point tree measures 29' 8" x 106' x 136' !! It has two
branches more than 75' long!

My current list of long branches on the West Coast (self-supporting,
non-cabled branches!) includes:

94' Juglans hindsii x nigra
81' Quercus lobata
78' Quercus chrysolepis
77' Platanus racemosa
72' Juglans hindsii x regia

The East Coast record (maybe)
92' The Gifford Pinchott Sycamore in Connecticut.

Rock on,
- BVP
