After three trips into Cataloochee to find the Sag Branch
Poplar, I
finally succeeded with a fourth attempt. Other tries had been
foiled by
lost directions, misplaced GPS coordinates, and the last time
realizing
I had the flu as I got near the grove (that was a real horror
show).
At any rate, I took a couple of companions along for the hike
and I
managed to find the tree with the help of Will's directions
(which I
didn't lose, this time).
