The following is a set of directions that will get you to the park.

Directions to Cook Forest State Park

FROM POINTS SOUTH AND EAST

            Take I-80 to the Brookville/RT 36 exit (old exit 13). Head
north on RT36 approximately 17 miles to Cooksburg. Turn right at the
'Y' (Forest Road) after you cross the Clarion River/RT36 Bridge.
Continue on Forest Road approximately 2 miles, turn right into the
entrance of the Sawmill Center for the Arts and Park Swimming Pool.

FROM POINTS NORTH

            Take RT36 south past the RT36/RT66 Leeper intersection
approximately 7 miles to Cooksburg. After passing the entrance to the
Ridge Camp Family Campground on your left(state park campground),
continue down the steep hill and take a hard left onto Forest Road (if
you cross the Clarion River/RT36 bridge you went too far. Then please
refer to the above directions.

FROM POINTS WEST

            Take I-79 to the Meadville RT19/RT322 exit. Take RT322 east
to RT66. Take RT66 north to RT36 (Leeper). Then please refer to the
above directions.


Cook Forest State Park has camping/RV and cabin facilities available. I
suggest you reserve these sites ahead of time by calling:

Alcohol is not permitted on state park property.

Pets are not permitted in state park cabin facilities. The only place
pets are permitted in an overnight status are at designated campsites in
our state park campground.
