Here is the tally of the Hemlocks at the property where I work.
All are planted trees, all have scale, HWA, and mites.
All will be treated with merit in spring.
They are in decent health considering the infestations.
They are planted in a natural setting with N. spruce, white
pine,
oak and ash. Some of the shorter ones are growing in the
open.
