Both trees are located in the Scott Arboretum, no, it isn't named after me! Located at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Delaware County Pa. This Quaker College may have other champions lurking in there.

Scott,
ood confirmations. That American elm's almost twin grows in Old Deerfield MA. It is 104.8 feeet tall, 18.4 feet in circumference, and has about the same spread as the Delaware tree. American elm is the Massachusetts state tree and it grew to large size here before the Dutch Elm disease reduced its numbers to a tiny fraction.
