Scott,
ood confirmations. That American elm's almost twin grows in Old
Deerfield MA. It is 104.8 feeet tall, 18.4 feet in
circumference, and has about the same spread as the Delaware
tree. American elm is the Massachusetts state tree and it grew
to large size here before the Dutch Elm disease reduced its
numbers to a tiny fraction.
