I measured this tree earlier this year, but didn't think to check
the
tall tree list. Our state champ Juniperus virginiana is 7.4' x 69.5'
with a spread of 24' for 165 AF points. Here is a link to a pic.

It grows on an old estate in Glenn Mills, Delaware Co. Pa.

Scott,
Nice tree. I have measured ( cbh ) one on Howard Hannah's property
in
Lowndesville SC that would rival this in size.

That's a fabulous tree; one of my favorite species and I had no idea
they
could get that big around. I wonder whether it's a male or a female.

Carolyn,
Here is the report that has the large cedar on Howard Hannah's
property. It is a little smaller in girth than the one in the photo
but it seems like it may have been a bit taller. I need a laser to
find out. I will have to look up the SC state record Red Cedar.
