ENTS,
Over the weekend I did a Rucker Index for the Cedar Hollow
Preserve located
in Chester Co., Pa. I noticed a large hackberry on a small ridge in
the NE
corner of the preserve which sits above the flood plain of Cedar
Hollow Run.
When I reached the tree it turned out to be two separate trees
sharing a
common base. I was able to get my tape measure between the two and
measured
the taller one at 12'3" x 114.2. I think it's a new NE height
record. I'll
post the preserves RI later this week.
