Some big trees are where one least expects them. Here are a
couple of
photos of a 19'cbh Red Oak in Lorain, Ohio, just a quarter mile
from the
downtown area. The tree has an approximate spread of 85' and
height of
90'. The house (not shown) on the lot dates from 1898. The
building
practices from that era seem to have less of an impact on
existing
trees, and there are a number of other large trees in this
neighborhood.
