Carillion Park, Ohio Larry Tucei

ENTS,

This past week I stayed in Dayton Ohilo and went to Troy Ohio for a welding re-certification at the Hobart Welding Institute. I had limited time here but did manage to check out a few places. The Miami River Valley has many trees that I don't get to see so I drove around checking them out. Maples, Fir, Spruce, Cottonwood, Northern Red Oak. In the southern region of the city  was the Carillon Park with huge Cottonwoods and some Sycamore in a grove at the park. The oldest building in the valley 1745 also was in park.  I managed to measure one Cottonwood with my hand. CBH-24 Hands, which equaled 18'. A huge tree about EST., 100'+ tall, it was the largest in the park but they were all huge. Some photos. #4 is the 24 hands CBH. Larry
