ENTS,
On Saturday evening I went to Jackson Park to take note of some
decent sized trees I knew were there. Jackson Park is a 250 acre
wetland park located just outside downtown Hendersonville NC. While
many know it for its ball fields, BMX tracks & other sports
related activities it has some really nice forests and marshy ponds.
In summer it is abloom with aquatic plants and other flora. It also
has some nice trees. Especially oaks and white pines. Some decent
silver maples are to be found here also.
11 foot 4.25 inch White Oak
12ft 1 inch White Oak
American Holly
12 foot 1 inch cbh White Oak
Here are some cbh measurements of trees found there. I also attached
some photos & uploaded one to the file page of the 12' 1"
White Oak.
