The last two days have been rather intense tree measuring exercises
for me and my muscles ache from climbing steep ridges on two sites.

   Monica and I went to Kaaterskill Falls, NY on Saturday. At a total of
260 feet in two drops (180, 80), Kaaterskill is New York's highest water
fall and is at the head of Kaaterskill Clove. The trees were great, but
it was like Grand Central Station around the falls. It always is on nice
days. Yuk! I think I did find the tall ash tree measured by Howard
Stoner (see the list below).
