ENTS,Inwood Hill Park, Manhattan: any ideas about this tree? With
the
magnifying tool, you can get a closer look at the leaves...(I'm 90%
sure the leaves belong to this tree and not another!)

FYI: Inwood Park gets an A+++++++ for NYC trees, habitat
diversity,
and geological stuff.

Thanks to being neglected and underused until
recently, it feels like a patch of secret forest that has hidden
itself from people. (except for the spot where 25 cedars were
senselessly slaughtered in March...)
If interested in looking at an incongruous grand old copper beech
that
appeared out of nowhere: Great place for a treehouse.
