ENTS,
Here are 3 photos I took today of a beautiful, probably open-grown,
Catalpa bignonioides, located behind some of the workers' houses at
Historic Batsto in Wharton State Forest.
The tree isn't big, but it's one of the least messed-up Catalpas
I've ever seen, and it's got a beautiful shape to it. It kind of
reminds of the Live Oaks.
I'm guessing each trunk might be about a foot in DBH, and the tree
might be 40 feet tall, or maybe a little less.
Enjoy,
Barry
