117 inch wild cherry pictures, Wharton SF, NJ Barry Caselli
May 9, 2009

ENTS,
Here's the 117" CBH wild cherry I saw on March 16 in Wharton State Forest. It's such a sad-looking tree, but I don't think it's going to die any time soon. I'm not sure I've ever seen a wild cherry just give up and die.

The text about my expedition is here: Some Great Finds Today!

This is the largest wild cherry that I know of. (There was one on one of the golf courses at work that may have been bigger, but the idiots cut it down several years ago. It was in an out-of-play area too.)
