ENTS, Measured two Live Oaks in Ocean Springs, Ms., Saturday, Feb 9.
One was CBH-23', Height-48' and Spread-108'. The other was CBH-21',
Height-43.5' and Spread-105'. Both trees are growing at 1001 Point
Aux
Chenes on property bordering the Gulf of Mexico. They grow within
200
yards of the Gulf, so both had about 8-10' of saltwater during
Hurricane Katrina. With no effect!

From: Larry
James, They are big. I've never seen that size of species your were
reporting on. There are thousands of Live Oaks in the 16-19' range,
I
just report on the 20'+ trees.
