ENTS,
Measured another Live Oak on my way home from work yesterday. I
had seen
this tree a month or so ago and decided to check it out. Located
in
Gulfport, Ms. on private property. The homeowner named the tree
the
Olivioak in honor of their grand-daughter. CBH-21'7",
Height-58.5' and
Spread-111'.
A middle-aged specimen, single trunk, 200-300,
years old.
Temp. yesterday 95, heat index 105. Bob, I'll trade your summers
for our
winters.

Larry,
I've been a little out of the loop. How many
20+ footers are you up
to? 30-footers?
At this point, our New England summers are a
bit confusing. Is it
going to be hot? Is it going to be cold? Yes, it's going to do
both. We
had a 97 the other day. Today it is delightful. Global warming
sucks
pond water!

Bob,
So far I've measured 5 30'+ and 39 20' or larger.
