ENTS,   The Long Leaf Pine Cone drop was plentiful and looks like it was in mid Dec.  I gathered up a couple of unopened cones to retrieve some seeds. The cones are the size of Footballs, 9" long and 4" wide. They have remained on the trees for 3 and 1/2 years. I hope to grow some from seed, these cones are off trees at my Dads place and are 75 years old. I'll post a photo of the cones on the file page. Larry Home
