ENTS, The latest Live Oak I measured Monday at a friend of
mines. Named after his father, Ceville Shiyou. CBH-20'4", Height-48'
and Spread-111'X104' making it # 103 of 109 trees on the listing. A
multi-trunk tree with a split developing, we plan to shore it up
before Hurricane season. A young fast growing tree around 120-130
years.
In early May I'm traveling to Louisiana, to Beaux Bridge for the
Crawfish festival. There are several large Live Oaks in the area
that I plan to measure and of course eat some Crawfish. It's time to
visit our sister state, for more Live Oak trees! Larry
