I took another quick foray
into Look Park this morning to capture a little more of its look. I
also remeasured several trees and have an updated RI. The full index
is included as the last attachment. The updated Rucker index for
Look Park stands at 108.8. With a lot of work that index can be
nudged up to perhaps as high as 110, but that would be it.
The first image looks at large mature
pines in a picnic area. The second photo is of a big cottonwood. Its
dimensions are: height = 101.8 feet, circumference = 13.9 feet. The
last image is of the Totem Pines. They are very attractive and form
the highest canopy in the park.
