ENTS, I contacted Oak Alley and planned another visit. This time I
will document all 28 of the Row Live Oaks. These trees are huge,
planted around 1710! Making them almost 300 years old. I can't wait
to
get back down there, it's about a 2.5 hour drive which isn't bad.

It is a little strange not seeing any spanish moss hanging from
those
glorious live oaks in the link.
I know spanish moss is extremely sensitive....wonder if all those
chemical plants in that area have anything to do with it not being
present? Surely, there is ample enough humidity.

Gary, It's funny you mentioned that! I've noticed lately there is
very little Spanish moss on our Live Oaks either. Hurricane Katrina
was one cause, I'll research about the pollution.
