ENTS,

Today Monica and I meet up with Beth Koebel to visit Beall Woods, one of the iconic old growth sites in the East. Our friend Amy Kaiser will join us. Amy is the choral director of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and a nature enthusiast. But the circles she moves in aren't focused in nature, so Beth has agreed to show Amy some neat spots. 
Both Will Blozan and I have   visited Beall Woods in the past, but barely scratched the surface. Today should be a good one - but also a scorcher. I'm going to miss the high, dry altitude of Colorado.
