As soon as I can get them scanned I want to send you a few
images of some
big live oaks Coralie and I came across on a recent trip to
Florida.
Highlands Hammock state park near Sebring has some beauties.
They have what
they claim to be a 1000 year old live oak. Also, at Paynes
Prarie state
park and preserve outside of Gainesville some open grown live
oaks with
impressive crown width. Thanks for the updates.
